In April, the ceremony of awarding the Order of St. Panteleimon, which unites doctors who save lives even in the most difficult conditions, took place in Sumy. The regional council determined the laureates in key nominations – from clinical practice to volunteering and military medicine. Among them – “The Best Doctor – a Standard of the Profession”, “Heart of Medicine”, “Innovator of the Year”, “Model of Service to Society”, “Fortress of Health” and special awards for doctors on the front.
The award was a recognition of professional achievements and human resilience. For the Sumy region, which lives under constant danger, the work of doctors is a daily feat. They help patients during sirens and explosions, introduce the latest methods of treatment and develop the medical industry.
The winners of the regional stage will represent the region at the all-Ukrainian level. It is especially pleasing that among the awardees is our colleague, associate professor of the department, Doctor of Medical Sciences Vladyslava Kachkovska, whose work has become an example of service to people.
