Anna Kovchun, PhD, Assistant Professor of the Department of Internal and Family Medicine, completed a three-month internship at the Hospital Universitari Vall d’Hebron (Barcelona, Spain) as part of the EAACI Ukraine Clinical Fellowship 2026 program, organized by the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI).
During the stage, Anna Volodymyrivna gained practical and scientific experience in the field of modern allergology, diagnostics and treatment of painful diseases, and also got acquainted with approaches to organizing clinical and research work in one of the leading medical centers in Europe.
An important component of the Fellowship was the exchange of experience and the development of international scientific cooperation, in particular, the prospects for joint scientific publications, research projects and international grant initiatives.
The knowledge and experience gained will be implemented in the scientific, clinical and educational activities of the department during the training of interns and students.
