The scientific workshop on the topic “Management of atrial fibrillation” was held at the Department of Internal and Family Medicine in October 21, 2026 by assistant Chernatska O.M. The key points of the “CARE” strategy were noted together with foreign students. The clinical case of the patient with such heart rhythm disorder, the features of antiarrhythmic drugs according to the presence of structural heart disease, the mechanism of their action, the dosage of new oral anticoagulants for patients with different age and glomerular filtration rate, changes in the CHA2DS2-VA scale according to the 2024 ESC Guidelines for the management of atrial fibrillation developed in collaboration with the European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery (EACTS)
