In 1987 she graduated from Ternopil State Medical Institute. In 1996 she passed Ph.D. defense, and in September 2006 – Doctor of medicine. He is the author of more than 300 scientific publications, including 16 indexed by Scopus international scientific base, 13 patents for utility model, 13 manuals, 2 monographs. Under her leadership, 8 PhD and 1 PhD were defended. Scientific studies are aimed at studying the association of diseases of the internal organs with obesity and metabolic syndrome; the role of molecular genetic mechanisms in the emergence and course of multifactorial diseases, the effectiveness of their treatment. Prystupa LN has received a number of individual grants to participate in international conferences in Italy, the United Kingdom, Poland, Germany, Turkey, Hungary.
