Trainings on conducting OSKI in Lviv: improving medical education

On March 25–26, the Head of the Department of Internal and Family Medicine, Prystupa L., attended a training on conducting objective structured clinical examinations (OSCE) in Lviv, which brought together teachers and medical specialists from various educational institutions. The event was held in five sections, each of which was aimed at improving the methodology for assessing theoretical knowledge and clinical skills of students.

The training was conducted by Dmytro Konkov, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Director of the Scientific and Educational Institute of Innovative Medical and Educational Technologies of the Shupyk National University of Healthcare of Ukraine. Participants received practical knowledge on the development of clinical scenarios, the use of standardized patients, as well as methods for ensuring transparency of assessment.

The event was an important step in the development of medical education in Ukraine, contributing to improving the quality of training of future doctors. Participants noted the benefits of teamwork, which allowed them to work through various scenarios and exchange experiences between teachers from different medical institutions.
