Baryshok Alina, a 5th year student (group-101) of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Sumy State University, took part in the XXIII International Scientific and Practical Conference \u201cUzhhorod Medical Students Conference\u201d, which was held on April 23-25, 2026 at the Medical Faculty of Uzhhorod National University.<\/p>\n

According to the results of an oral report on the topic \u201cThe influence of prediabetes on oxidative stress and oxidative protection in patients with arterial hypertension and obesity\u201d in the therapeutic sciences section, Alina won 1st place!<\/p>\n

Scientific supervisor – Dr. Med. Sci., Prof. Psareva Valentyna.<\/p>\n

As part of the event program, master classes were held on dermatoscopy and surgery, prenatal diagnostics, analysis of prick tests in the diagnosis of allergic diseases, a review of current changes in the vaccination calendar, as well as ultrasound diagnostics classes for beginners.<\/p>\n

In addition, a lecture was held by Mykhailo Borisovich Todurov, a cardiac surgeon, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Assistant Professor of the Department of Cardiac Surgery at the P. L. Shupyk National Institute of Health, dedicated to modern innovations in cardiac surgery and interventional cardiology.<\/p>\n
